Hailed by Time Out New York as one of the “creme de la boheme of downtown bohemia,”DADAnewyork celebrates its Sweet Sixteenth year with Cabaret Re-Voltaire III - Beautiful Absurdities at Theater for the New City (TNC), 155 First Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets) in Manhattan. Performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m., March 13 - March 30.

Also presented are works by Kenneth Bernard (author of many avant-garde plays in collaboration with Theatre of the Ridiculous director John Vaccaro), David Dozer (co-host with Janet Coleman of WBAI's “Cat Radio Café” and author/producer of “Poisoned Arts”), artist/playwright Charles Mingus III, ZenDADA poet/scholar Valery Oisteanu, the late great poet/performance artist Irving Wexler, and zRebecca Krell, DADAnewyork’s most prolific contributor. DADAnewyork is joined by composer Julie Harting (recipient of the Boris and Eda Rapaport Prize for String Quartet, founding member Forecast Music) and flautist Michele Smith (Art Lillard's Heavenly Jazz Band; Les Sylphides Flute Ensemble). Sculptural props are built by Charles Mingus III and film maker, prop master and actor Mike Sullivan.
